RATE PROVIDE

INSTALLATION

Once you've downloaded the installation file on ThemeForest, Extract it and locate a file called Provide_v1.x.zip. You can install the theme by using one of two installation methods

Requirements

To use Provide, you must be running WordPress 4.7 or higher. We have tested it with Mac, Windows and Linux. Its feasibility has been tested on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer 10+ as well.

Downloading Provide

Download the Provide_full_package.zip file from themeforest.net and unzip it. In this zip file you have everything you need:

  1. Licensing
  2. Provide_Documentation.zip
  3. Provide_v1.x.zip
  4. provide_online_documentation.html

The main theme zip file ( Provide_v1.x.zip ) you need to upload to your WordPress in order to install Provide. In this zip file, you will find the theme itself.

Note: Do not unzip file Provide_v1.x.zip. Do not upload the entire Provide_full_package.zip file you get from ThemeForest.

INSTALL PROVIDE

WordPress upload - This is probably the simplest way for most users. Here are the steps you need to take

  • Login to WordPress Admin
  • Go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Themes > Add New > upload theme
  • Click on "Choose File" and select Provide_v1.x.zip
  • Click on "Install Now"

FTP upload - If you wish to install via FTP, here are the steps you need to take:

  1. Using FTP client, login to the server where your WordPress website is hosted
  2. Using FTP client, navigate to the /wp-content/themes/ directory under your WordPress website's root directory.
  3. Using FTP client, upload the Provide directory to themes directory on remote server

Great!! Now you can start building your site!

Provide comes with a one click import module. To import one of our demo sites, please follow these steps:

  • Login to WordPress Admin.
  • Go into Admin Panel > Appearance > Theme Options > Demo Installation
  • Click on the Import Demo and wait for few minutes

Updating Provide

Manual Update

You can update your theme manually by performing the following steps:

  1. Download the latest theme zip file from ThemeForest
  2. Extract it and locate Provide_v1.x.zip
  3. Extract provide.zip and locate the provide folder
  4. Copy/Replace content of the provide folder to the /wp-content/themes/provide folder of your web site.

Activate Provide

After theme installation, click on "Activate" here.

Install Plugins

In order to get Provide work properly, you need to install some useful plugins. All these plugins are included in Provide, you don’t need to purchase them! After install plugins, activate them.

  1. Click on “Begin installing plugins”
  1. Check all plugins, select “Install” and click on “Apply”
  2. After installing plugins activate them.

Theme Option

Provide has an advanced Admin Panel for Theme Options, which gives you plenty of options and settings to customize your website.

Go to Appearance -> Theme Options and you will get Provide Admin Panel. All settings are organized in logical sections and have brief descriptions of what they do. A lot of these settings are self explanatory.

Things to remember:

  • Always click on “Save changes” in order to change your settings accordingly.

Please note: in order to ensure the correct working of theme options (saving your style changes) all caching plugins you may be using on your website should be better deactivated. After you are done with your changes you can activate this caching plugins again.

General

In this section you can manage color of your theme.

Color Scheme

  • Primary theme color
  • Here you can select primary color for your theme
  • To set it up, go to Appearance>Theme Options>Primary Theme Color from Admin Panel.
  • Secondary theme color
  • Here you can select secondary color for your theme
  • To set it up, go to Appearance>Theme Options>Secondary Theme Color from Admin Panel.

Theme RTL

  • Provide gives you option to change your website in any language which you want,and make your website flexible and easy to understand.Go to appearence>Theme options> click on General setting tab:
  • In general setting you can "on or off" theme RTL

Boxed Layout

You can convert your demo in Boxed version .Go to Appearence >Theme options > click on General Setting tab:

  • To enable this option click "On" button.
  • Select background type.
  • Upload background image.
  • Set background according to your requirement either background repeat or no-repeat.
  • Set background attachment that should be fixed or to scroll.

Google Setting

  • Enter google map API key here

Templates Pagination

Through template pagination, you can set that after how many pages you can jump to next page.

To set it up, go to Appearance > Theme Options > General from Admin Panel.

By enabling this option, you can enter:
  • Number of posts to show on Branches template
  • Number of posts to show on Portfolio style 1 template
  • Number of posts to show on Portfolio style 2 template
  • Number of posts to show on Price table template
  • Number of posts to show on Team template
  • Numbers of posts to show on Testimonial template

Custom Css Code

Here, you can write css code to customize your theme.

To set it up, go to Appearance>Theme Options> General from Admin Panel

Click “Save Changes” button at the end in order to apply the changes throughout the theme.

Coming Soon

Here, you can find about upcoming pages

To set it up, go to Appearance>Theme Options> Coming Soon from Admin Panel.

After these options get enabled, you will see Header Setting section..

By enabling this option you can:

  1. Upload backgroung image
  2. Coming soon title
  3. Select date and time for coming soon
  4. Select your time zone
  5. Enable or disable Coming soon newsletter

Header Setting

One of the first things you might want to do is to set up the header area. This section contains the logo, menu, search bar, side area icon, and other optional widgets .

To set it up, go to Appearance >Theme Options and Under the General Settings tab click on Header Settings from the Admin Panel

Here, you can change the header according to available options.

Select Header Style

  1. Here you can select the header style for your theme

Responsive Header

To set it up, go to Appearance > Theme Options and Under the General Settings tab, click on Responsive Header from the Admin Panel.

Here, you can make your header responsive.

In this section you can set:

  1. Logo: In this option you can upload logo of your theme.
  2. Top Bar: By enabling this option, you can show or hide the top bar.
  3. Show Address: To enable this option you can show or hide the adress.
  4. Show Social: By enabling this option, you can show or hide the address.
  5. Show Search Bar: To enable this option you can show or hide the adress.
  6. Show Contact Box: In this option, you can show or hide contact.If you want to show contact on your header, click on Show button and enter the title and timing.
  7. Show Email Box: In this option, you can show or hide Email Address.If you want to show Email Address on your header, click on Show button and enter the title and email address.

Contact Us

To set it up, go to Appearance > Theme Options > Click on Contact Us menu.

  • You can enter the contact form description.
  • Enter the Email address.
  • Give the Google Map API Key.
  • Enter google map Latitude & Longitude.

Newsletter

Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Click on Newsletter menu

In this section you can enter

  • MailChimp API Key
  • MailChimp List ID

Blog Image Cover Style

To set it up, go to Appearance > Theme Options and under the Blog Setting tab, click on "Blog Image Cover Style" from the Admin Panel. After enabling this section you can set:

  • Post Date: In this option you can show or hide the post date.If you want to show Post Date click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Title: In this option you can show or hide the post title.If you want to show Post Title click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Author: In this option you can show or hide the post author name.If you want to show Post Author click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Comment: In this option you can show or hide the post comment.If you want to show Post Comment click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Views: In this option you can show or hide the post views.If you want to show Post Views click on "Yes" button.

Blog Grid Style

To set it up, go to Appearance > Theme Options and under the Blog Setting tab, click on "Blog Grid Style" from the Admin Panel. After enabling this section you can set:

  • Blog Column: in this option you can select column according to your requirement.
  • Post Date: In this option you can show or hide the post date.If you want to show Post Date click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Title: In this option you can show or hide the post title.If you want to show Post Title click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Author: In this option you can show or hide the post author name.If you want to show Post Author click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Comment: In this option you can show or hide the post comment.If you want to show Post Comment click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Views: In this option you can show or hide the post views.If you want to show Post Views click on "Yes" button.

Blog List Style

To set it up, go to Appearance > Theme Options and under the Blog Setting tab, click on "Blog List Style" from the Admin Panel. After enabling this section you can set:

  • Content Limit: Provide offers content limit in Blog List Style. You can enter the number of words to be shown in content.
  • Post Date: In this option you can show or hide the post date.If you want to show Post Date click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Title: In this option you can show or hide the post title.If you want to show Post Title click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Author: In this option you can show or hide the post author name.If you want to show Post Author click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Comment: In this option you can show or hide the post comment.If you want to show Post Comment click on "Yes" button.
  • Post Views: In this option you can show or hide the post views.If you want to show Post Views click on "Yes" button.

Single Post

To set it up, go to Appearance > Theme Options and under the Blog Setting tab, click on "Single Post" from the Admin Panel.

This section has three sidebar layouts.Full width layout,right layout and left layout.

In this section:

  1. You can select the sidebar layout which you want.
  2. You can select sidebar item from drop down.
  3. You can show or hide blog post date.
  4. You can show or hide blog post title.
  5. You can show or hide blog post author name.
  6. You can show or hide blog post comments counter.
  7. You can show or hide blog post views.
  8. You can show or hide blog post categories.
  9. You can show or hide blog post tags.
  10. You can show or hide blog post author info.

SMTP

Through SMTP you can ensure that your email will be send to the authorized recipient To set it up, go to Appearance>Theme Options> SMTP from Admin Panel.

By enabling this option, you can enter:

  1. SMTP host name
  2. SMTP post
  3. SMTP SSL
  4. SMTP authentication
  5. SMTP User name
  6. SMTP password

Click “Save Changes” button at the end in order to apply the changes throughout the theme

Blog Template

To set it up, go to Appearance > Theme Options and under the Template Settings tab, click on "Blog Template" from the Admin Panel.

Provide offers 3 Blog layouts (Image Cover Style,Blog Grid Style,Blog List Style).

in this section you can set

  1. You can show or hide header section and enter header title and upload header background image.
  2. You can enter 404 text.
  3. You can enter 404 Button Text.
  4. You can enter 404 Bottom Description.
  5. You can enter 404 Button Text.

Language Uploader

Through this option, you can replace any word by another word in a file.

To set it up, go to Appearance >Theme Options > Language Uploader from Admin Panel

By enabling this option, you can:
  1. Select language
  2. Upload language file through browsing

Dynamic Sidebar

Provide offers to create unlimited sidebars.

To set it up, go to Appearance > Theme Options > Click on Dynamic Sidebar menu.

  1. You can show or hide header section and enter header title and upload header background image.
  2. You can enter 404 text.
  3. You can enter 404 Bottom Text.
  4. You can enter 404 Bottom Description.
  5. You can enter 404 Button Text.

Body Styling

To set it up, go to Appearance > Theme Options and under the Typography tab, click on "Body Styling" from the Admin Panel.

Here you can show or hide the body typography.In this section you can set body text style.

H1 Styling

To set it up, go to Appearance > Theme Options and under the Typography tab click on "H1 Styling" from the Admin Panel.

Here you can show or hide the heading typography.In this section you can style Heading 1

Building Pages

To create a new page, go to Pages > Add New from the Admin Panel. In the text field near the top of the screen enter a title for your page. After you have added a title, choose the “Full width” template from the section on the right named "Page Attributes". This will allow you to add sections to your page that span across the whole width of the screen.

To start adding elements to your page, first make sure that you are in the backend editor. If the blue button on the top left says BACKEND EDITOR, click on it to enable the Visual Composer page builder view. Once you’re in the Visual Composer view, the blue button will say CLASSIC MODE. You can now click on “Add element” to start adding elements to your page. You can learn more about elements in the Custom Shortcodes section of this user guide.

Finally, click the "Publish" button in the upper right section of the page. (If you made some changes on already published page, "Update" button will appear.)

Blog Posts

To create a new blog post, go to Posts > Add New from the Admin Panel.

  1. Enter a title for your post in the text field near the top of the screen.
  2. On the right side of your screen, in the section called "Format", choose a format for your blog post.

Now it's time to categorize this post.

  1. Beneath the "Format" section you will see a section named "Categories". Here you can select the categories that you would like to add to this post.
  2. Once you've checked the categories you would like to add your post to, click the “Publish” button.
  3. Beneath the "Categories" section you will see the "Tags" and "Featured Image" sections. Here you can add tags to your post and set a featured image to be displayed for this post on blog list pages.

Categories

Here you can define which post categories belong your post categories belongs your post. You can add new blog categories in Posts Categories or directly here in Categories panel by clicking on “Add New Category”

What Is Portfolio

Portfolios are very useful custom post types in Provide, aimed to create and to highlight special content, different to usual pages and posts. Portfolios can be used to publish / demonstrate:

Projects / Case Studies

Portfolio can help you to emphasize the results of your company’s activities in some projects or to inform your customers about the successfull stories / case studies you have gained with your business by providing your services:

  • You can describe, what kind of a project you have realized
  • You can insert image galleries with some project outtakes/results
  • You can add the project description, focusing on your skills and provided services
  • You can publish media content like videos, showing your customers the development of the project
  • You can introduce the development team, responsible for this project etc…

Projects / Case Studies

In the same way as projects and case studies you can use portfolios to highlight the products and services your company provides to customers. You can create the product descriptions (portfolio items) and structure it in different product groups / categories (portfolio sets), which then can be used in navigation or product filter. Media Content (videos, images)

Don’t waste time of your customers and show them what you can do – just with one click! Portfolios give you the possibility to publish different media types and make it accessible in attractive overviews. Layers with videos from youtube, vimeo, your own hosted videos or fullsize images in stylish lightboxes – all this can be done using different portfolio types.

Adding New Portfolio

To create a new portfolio item:

  • Go to Portfolio > Add new from the Admin Panel.
  • Enter a title for your portfolio item in the text field near the top of the page.
  • On the right side of the screen you will see a section named Portfolio Categories. Here you can select the categories that you would like to add to this post. If you would like to create a new category, click on the “+ Add New Category” link. A text field will appear in which you can enter a category name, and then click “Add New Category”.
  • Once you have checked the categories you would like to add to your post, click the “Publish” button.

Beneath the "Portfolio Categories" section are the "Featured Image" sections.In the "Featured Image" section, you can set an image to be displayed for this item on portfolio lists.

Now that you have set up your first portfolio item, let’s go over the available Additional fields for portfolio items.

  • Header section:here you can enable or disable the header section.
  • Portfolio single style:here you can choose sidebar for portfolio.
  • Project short description:here you can enter short description about profile.
  • Customer name:here you can enter customer name.
  • Live Demo:enter link of your live demo.
  • Category:enter category name.
  • Date:enter date.
  • Tag:enter tag.
  • Graph Description:here you can enter short description of graph and enter graph values which shows after graph.

Testimonials

Testimonials are a great way to show potential clients what others are saying about your business.

To create a testimonial, go to Testimonials > Add New from the Admin Panel, and enter a title for your testimonial in the text field near the top of the screen.

  • Title: It is a testimonial’s title, which is used internally only for wordpress admin, for example in testimonial lists.
  • Content: Here you can enter the quoted text or brief description concerning your testimonial. It will be displayed in your testimonial on page.
  • Avatar: Here you can upload image of person.
  • Address: Here you can enter address.

Adding New Branches

To create branches, go to Branches > Add New from the admin panel, and enter a title for your branches in the text field near the top of the screen.

  • Text Editor:Content of your branches. Here you can use all of the Provide shortcodes by using Visual Composer.
  • Header section:here you can enable or disable the header section.
  • Sidebar Layout:Select sidebar layout.
  • Contact Email:Enter Email address.
  • Contact Number:Add contact number.
  • Contact Time:Add contact time.
  • Address:Enter a location.

Team

Adding New Team Person

To add new person to your team, go to Team ➜ Add New Person in the leftside wordpress menu. You will get a page for adding the new person. Here you can define:.

  1. Title: It is a person’s title, which is used intern only for wordpress admin, for example in persons list
  2. Text Editor: Here you can enter some brief description or some quoted text concerning your person. This text will be displayed in one of team styles.
  3. Designation: Here you can enter member designation.
  4. Social Profiles: Here you can enter links to person’s social profiles
  5. Skills: Here you can enter skills of member.

Inserting teams in a page is very simple. Use Visual Composer and "Our Team" shortcodes.

Price Table

To add price table go to Price Table ➜ Add New in the leftside wordpress menu.Here you can define:

  1. Title: It is a price table title.here you can give title of pricing table like Basic plan,Gold plan and Silver plan etc.
  2. Text Editor: Here you can enter some brief description or some quoted text concerning your person. This text will be displayed in one of team styles.
  3. Background Image: Give background image to the price table.
  4. Plan Type: Select price plan type from drop down i.e Daily,Monthly,Weekly etc.
  5. Plan Price: Enter plan price.
  6. Currency Symbol: Enter currency symbol.
  7. Button Text: Here you can enter button text.
  8. Button Link: Enter page link which you want to linked.
  9. Plan Features: Here you can enter features of your pricing plan.

Publishing Price Table

Inserting price table in a page is very simple.Select visual composer from "Page Attributes" in the right side of wordpress admin and select "Price Table" shortcodes.

Visual Composer

Visual Composer is the best drag’n’drop visual editor for building pages, posts etc. in WordPress.

Please note, that Visual Composer inside Provide is optimised for this theme, so all content elements and shortcodes you have here are Provide-related. All Provide elements you will find in tab „Provide“ in Visual Composer:

To start creating new page layout you can choose whether to do it in backend or in frontend editor. We recommend to use Frontend Editor, because it is a real “What You See Is What You Get” way to build your pages. Click on “Front End Editor”

And you will be switched to Visual Composer Frontend Editor:

Here you might want to begin with adding a new content element by clicking on “Add element”. After that the overview of all content elements will be displayed.

You can begin with adding a new content row in your page; choose “Row”. You will be switched to your page with added row element. Now you can edit its properties like for example number of columns and layout.
